Using video allows you to get a good first impression of your candidates. Read more about how to do this and what you can do to increase the conversion rate of candidates who choose to record themselves.
The video section is designed to provide an additional dimension of the candidate, akin to a cover letter. You can ask up to three questions to the candidate. The candidate will see the question in writing and can respond with a video in a maximum of 30 seconds. Therefore, these questions should not be too complicated; the aim is simply to get a first impression of the candidate's personality. The candidate can choose to hide their face if they wish, resulting in a blurred video.

Candidates can also re-record their answers if they are not satisfied or upload a video from their library/albums on their phone or laptop.
Recording a video as an employer
By informing candidates in the job advertisement that the application process involves video and that the employer/manager records a video themselves, you can increase the number of video conversions from your candidates.
Typical questions in the video section can be situational or personality-based.
Examples of Questions:
- What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
- What caught your interest in this position?
- How would your previous employer describe you?
