Find out how to activate a unsolicited application and set up reminder emails to candidates here.
Show Interest
It is possible to activate unsolicited applications which are always available to apply without a closing date.
To find it, go to Menu > Settings > HR settings > Career page > Express interest

The difference between an unsolicited application and a job ad in Higher is as follows:
- No closing date - an unsolicited application does not have a closing date as a job advert does.
- Number of questions - in an unsolicited application you can ask up to 40 skill questions where each skill question may contain a follow-up question.
- Cannot map internal applications - you do not have the opportunity to map internal applications in the same way as in a regular job ad where candidate cards are marked with an orange frame in the recruitment board. Instead, you can use tags.
- Cannot use knock-out questions - in an unsolicited application, it is not allowed to use knock-out questions.
- Possibility for candidates to withdraw or update their application - by setting a reminder time, candidates can have the chance to withdraw their application, update or keep their original information.
