Use: Receiving feedback on your application is important, whether it is positive or negative. Providing feedback to candidates is also very time consuming and must be respected. To solve this, you can use a template to streamline this process by sending a thank you email to all the candidates you do not proceed with.
This gives them feedback and makes you, as an employer, appear more professional and caring about the candidate's application, even if they didn't get hired.

Use: Higher does not send a confirmation email to candidates who apply, instead the candidate receives a confirmation that the application has been submitted in the tool. If you want a confirmation email, you can set it up as an Email Trigger on the status column “Not Handled”

If you want a confirmation email for this, you can set it up as a job trigger on the status column “Not handled” for your spontaneous application/show interest button.
